I bought my computer about a 10mos ago for 1100. I made sure to pick my components really well- cost vs quality. I'm confident that next year, when "Halo 56" comes out for PC and 360, I'll be able to play it because my rig is better than a 360. The only drawback will be if MS simply ports over the game to PC without optimizing it (which has been the recent epidemic). One thing I don't like about this article is that they only show the best on the PC (DX10) but not the best quality graphics on a DX9c card. I want to see how high quality graphics on a DX9c compares to the 360. And taking into account a HDTV is very important when comparing PC to 360 because the graphics quality will suffer on the 360 if it's not on an HDtv.
