OKAY.....

Yes, there are kids whose parents won't buy one for them, but then get a job! And if you're too young for that, then get a paper or flyer route! And if still too young for that, then you shouldn't be complaining about not having an HDTV, it means you're about 6 or 7 yrs old. So they should be playing SNES anyways.

My "future point" has no bearing? Of course it does. I KNOW that you yourself bought a 360 because it said on the box that it supports SD. But let's face it man. I am almost certain that by the time the next Xbox comes around, they won't be supporting OLD technology. You can count on it. It's the reason why you ALMOST can't buy a CRT SD tube television anymore. It's ancient, and it stinks. It's also why the prices of current HDTV's are getting VERY reasonable. Pretty much anyone can afford them now.

Here's the other BIG thing as well. By the time the next Xbox comes out, if they are still having to support an old and dying tech like SD, the industry is not moving forward. It would be moving backwards. The whole reason behind technology, and the tech revoloution, is to MOVE FORWARD. That is why I have problems with systems such as the Nintendo Wii. Cartoon graphics and childs play are something that I played back in the SNES and Playstation 1 days. GET WITH THE PROGRAM. I may have gotten a little off topic there, but my main point was is this: If Microsoft, or Sony still supports dying tech later on, they and the indusrty is not moving forward, AND they would still have support everyone out there that is still allowed by them to do so. They would have to keep supporting SD text and or other graphical problems that they should not have to be concerning themselves with at that stage of the game.

I chose option one(specifically) over option two, because, well, I believe my above statement(s) speak for themselves. I do not want to be in this gaming revolution with others that will just drag it down. I need to be with people that are future thinking, and are ready to take that next big leap.

My last thing is this: If not supporting SD is what we would have to force others into(or out of) next gen gaming, then so be it.

Well, I will be the first one to answer you about choosing the first answer over the second or others.

Most likely what is happening in the gaming world right now is that the "big two", or at least Microsoft are trying to force you to buy an HDTV. Now I know that that may sound bad on their part, but really, it is the future of gaming, and without an HDTV, you will be left in the dust when the successor to the 360 comes along.

I myself DO own an HDTV, but I didn't have one all along. I got my 360 on the day it came out, and only had an SDTV to play on for about a year. I couldn't really afford it either, but I found a way.

Saying that alot of gamers still can't afford it is KINDA b.s. If you want something bad enough, you make it happen. Like I did. AND, if you are a true gamer, it will be a priority for you, more so than other things.

If, on the other hand, you are just a "casual" gamer, then you really aren't that into it to begin with, so thenyou should not be complaining about this at all.

You want it bad enough, make it happen.

Is everyone crazy???

Why would you NOT get Fallout 3???

And I'm tired of everyone saying that they are going to get Fable 2 first, or they can't decide. Maybe the people that are saying this are young, or they just have a lack of maturity. Either way, they can't see that Fallout 3 is for more serious gamers, and carries a dark overtone which Fable 2 does not.

The first Fable was fun, but to me, grew tiresome because of the cartoon style of the world and characters. The game in my opinion is for 12-16 year olds, not adults. To me, Fable 2 looks to be just the same, just with more to do.

And YES, I have seen all of the developer diaries that you can download off of Xbox Live. I've looked at scads of photos.

I just have a hard time taking this game seriously, and always look forward to games like Fallout 3 that continue the path for the serious gamer.

At least my 13 year old brother is going to get Fable 2 I think. So there you go. :)

No, the spot for the GREATEST RPG this year, or for many years to come will be reserved for Fallout 3.

Did anyone play Morrowind? How about Oblivion? Bethesda has the capability to bring out the best in the genre. Since they aquired the Fallout franchise, I don't see them making a mistake with this one. With all of their open world RPG skills at work, Fallout 3 will NOT dissapoint.

I mean, check out all of the newest videos and previews.

They speak for themselves.

LOL

YES.

Oblivion really does take over 200 hours to complete, that is, if you do everything in the game, then download all of the extra content like I did. Shivering Isles alone took me around 50-60 hours.

I have done every side quest in every town, and bought every house.

When you do this, you end up at 307 hours.

Buy the game. Enjoy the game. It is well worth it.
