I am sad to say the first time I played half life was about 3 years ago. Not as strong of an impact as you guys had. I assume that it is due to the fact that it wasn't 1999 when I got it.

Every system has a rocky start, the only difference is that Sony has alienated its supporters by forcing Blu-ray on every loyal PS3 owner. Of course, it makes perfect business sense but pisses off others who aren't as enthused about Blu-ray as the executives at Sony.
