Personally, I enjoyed Dragon Quest 4 for DS more than 5. But both were well worth playing, and I'm excited for the next DQ game on the DS. Dragon Quest games aren't directly tied, however, several games in the series occur in the same world, such as Zenithia for DQ 4, 5, and 6, so you will see similarities in region between the 3. Same goes for other trilogies in the DQ series, such as DQ 1, 2, and 3 all take place in the era of Erdrick. I am unsure if it works like this for 7-9 as well.Wrecked69

I really don't see them charging for the DS or Wii's online. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to charge for their next gen online service, however.

I don't think we'll see the end of the DS for a while actually. Sure, there may not be any great first party games from this point on but why would third party develops quit making games for a system that has such a big user base? I mean, they're still making games for the PS2, and that's what, 4 years after the PS3 came out?

I think the DS will be running strong for another 2-3 years.

namco said this week that the ds and wii games sells was starting to fall, so i think that the publishers will begin to avoid these platforms very soon

another publisher said that the 3ds games sells model it´s going to be good for the publishers and game developers

so i think the DSfamilyit´s going to die in the next year already

what do you think folks?

or may the 3ds be just another (and new) portable video game?

Yeah, Coded was the cell phone game.

I guess they feel like its significant enough for people to play here. In all honesty, I have no real interest in the series anymore. I just wanted a KH3 lol.

Well I would start saving for a "3DS" cause its backwards cmpatiable. And the GBA slot doesn't matter cause the GBA died almost six years ago
