The Weekend Brung...

This Weekend I had a games fest, getting to mission 10 on advance wars I think. The multiplayer games showed the strengths and weaknesses of the games, as I lost Mario everytime! But I kicked ass on Mulitplayer Metroid Prime First Hunt.

Timesplitters 3- Future Perfect was very similar to TS2 with different weapns characters and maps. It was good menu design. I came 1st or 2nd in this.

Just as Predicted...

Fire Emblem was an annoyance again, getting almost to the end before having one of my characters being absolutley slaughtered. I think the games save feature really needs to be revised. Like having a certain number of saves during a battle. This way people can't replay every move but it saves having to restart after playing a good game for 40+ minutes and then being VERY annoyed because one character dies.

I have had a look at the new Fire Emblem videos for the GC and I have to say it's looking good, although it is looking as if its exactly the same gameplay (which is good) but with extra items, character types and a different storyline. I am looking forward to it, Now to look at the Advance Wars Under Fire news, because according to some sources that is coming out in June, which will be very good if correct.

Thats all for now Folks,

Andy

Efreet can bow down to me!

Needless to say I did well on Tales of Symphonia today, playing it again. I really do have to complete this game before I get Resident Evil 4. All I did today was beat Efreet using loads of Apple and Orange Gels bought from nearby Triet town. The number of life bottles I used was embarrassing, but I did beat him. I have friends coming round this weekend so I get to see what timesplitters- Future Perfect is like for myself.

Timesplitters in my opinion is a party game of which I do not purchase myself but just play at parties. This way when people are playing it you won't : -

(a) be blamed for having so much more practice than them and

(b) get bored of it.

I am also looking at Baten Kaitos and Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube. We shall see what happens. I think Resi first as it doesn't take as long to complete, a couple of weeks at the most for me. Well I am off to try another mission on Fire Emblem to fail miserably and my GBA SP will end up being thrown across the room. Grr....

Well thats all ppl,

Andy

School Again

Well today was back to school, hurrah... (I am being very sarcastic here)

Lately I have been looking at game creator engines that I can test out, and am learning a little programming. At the same time I have an internet site being built with my good friend Jonny. I will post the Address on here once it finally gets online, it will have a big section on Games mesa thinks as they rock.

Fire Emblem and Advance Wars are really ticking me off t the moment and as I have got absolutley no further I will have to accept that this game is actually harder than I thought. I saw the new trailer today for Fire Emblem , I WANT IT NOW . Doesn't it annoy you that you wait for games longer than you usually play them?

Last day of Easter...

As this is the last day of the Easter Holidays I thought I would stay in bed for a while playing Advance Wars today, but i didn't get the A in the War Room I was hoping for... So I gotta redo that mission.... *sobs*

I had three attempts at Fire Emblem, al of which were doomed to fail by me attempting to build and train the people who needed training... Damn Chapter 23 to hell and back!

The PS2 games I have not played for a while so I have nothing to say on the matter.
