Well looks like I joined the so many others who have gotten this "red ring of death".  I for one think it's absolutely ridiculous that so many of these systems are defective......I mean I've had Nintendo systems that lasted for 5-6 years without a hitch and believe me they were not treated with the utmost of care.  My PS2 is also still going strong, clogged with dirt and kicked around I've never had a problem with it.  So why is my 360 dead after only 5 months of use??  And why do most of us just accept it as inevitable when it happens???  To add insult to injury I still haven't received this box I need to ship it back to them for repair and it's been over a week now. 

I wish these dam companies would test their f'ing products before putting them out on the market, but hey I guess as long as naive consumers like myself buy them for these outrageous prices why would they?  Makes me sick :(((((
