@chippiez: Totally agree. Update the graphics and make it compatible with DX 11 and 12. I played that game at least 5 or 6 times through.

Never heard of this game until now.

If you like the games, you'll probably like the movie. A general audience won't have any idea what is going on because the movie is going off the games and assumes you know the back story. Ubisoft says it is canon. The Animus is different obviously. Assassins from the games make a very brief appearance. Very brief.

@ExoticCharm: Actually it is part of the game lore. Only difference is the Animus. Ubisoft said it is canon. I liked it, but I can see why most people don't. If you aren't familiar with the games and back story it won't make much sense. Since I played everything up until Syndicate I enjoyed it. But I am biased obviously. But if you like the games, you'll like the movie.

I'll take a game that works and buy it a month after it comes out.
