PS3 = Expensive, unless you mod it.

PC wins, even if it costs more.

I am sure no one cares but I have had a huge turnaround with the game. First it was freezing up my 360 first 30 seconds of the game, and then eventually gave me the RROD. I waited a little and then cleared the cache, and it has been working since just perfect. *knock on wood*

I played 5 hours straight and no problem. I am still in shock. lol

Try taking it back and getting another copy. By the way what update are you talking about? There is no update for this game yet.

Nothing serious, I just haven't been on live for a while and it asked me to update if I wanted to play GTAIV, weird.

I got my first RROD after trying GTA4. It kept freezing 20 seconds into the opening sequence, so i gave up on it & went back to CoD4. An hour into that, it froze up completely (which it's never done before) and i got the Red Rings.

I tried it again this morning though, & it seems to be working again. (Although still not on GTA4). Should i still send it off, or has it repaired itself?

I have the exact same problem. Seems to be GTA4 causing it.
