This long weekend was awesome!! I went camping with my aunts, uncles, grandpa, grandma, cousin, and my Dad!! About 30 minutes after I got there my Uncle Bill asked me if I wanted to go to the pool and I said no because the people worked that at the camp ground had just filled up the pool and the water was freezing! So he convinced me to go and I just jumped right in the water!! THAT WAS VERY STUPID OF ME!! As soon as hit the water, I was freezing cold and I couldn't move!! Plus, there was no sun out...so that was just dandy!! :|
The next day was when my cousin and his parents got there. My cousin, Jeromy, and I played Basketball and Shuffle Board and then we got ice cream. :D Believe me, we needed ice because it was like 90 degrees outside! D Then we played Ping Ping and Pool (which I beat him at...he just doesn't like to admit it). D Since we were all sweaty, Jeromy thought it would be a good idea to go swimming in the pool, so I went swimming with him. The water was actually warm for a while, but then the sun went away and the wind started to blow and then the water was cold and I got out. :| Later on that day, we played like 12 games of Yahtzee and got tied 6 to 6. Since we didn't have time to play another game we stopped there for that day.
The next day was when Jeromy, my Dad, and I went 4 wheeler riding on the roughest trail I have ever seen! There was pikes of mud bugger that the 4 wheeler, trees sticking out of the ground where we had to ride, and tons and tons and tons of MUD!! We rode all of that trail until we were nearly out of bounds of the camp ground! Then, we had to go ALL THE WAY back where we came from!! Going there and back took about an hour and a half to go through!! Later on that day, a big storm was heading our way and the sky was just totally dark, dark gray. It was scary!! About 30 minutes later, a camp ranger came around in his truck with flashing red and blue lights on the top and he was yelling through a mega-phone that 60 miles per hour winds were coming our way and that we should all go to the church. I'll tell you something, there was about 1,000 people at that camp ground and there was only about 80 or 90 people in the church :?. This lady with a weather thing turned it on and the weather man said that our county was right in the lines of the tornado. You can only guess what happened. There was no tornado, just a little rain. Nothing had happened!
The next day me and my Dad left the camp ground :(. We are going back there on June 21st and staying throughout June 28th or June 29th :D. I know, I'm not even going to be home to celebrate Drake Bell's 22nd birthday! I'll just have to find another way to celebrate at the camp ground! :)
