I played the GO at e3 right next to a psp-3000 model and the GO screen in brighter and sharper! There's really no comparing them. The system is also a LOT lighter than the psp-3000.kindredmachineI've got PSP-3000. But I'm looking still looking forward to buy the PSPgo. In the end the price of PSPgo will become cheaper as the market mechanism starts working.
i have all my umd's in a really tight case with my phat psp in as well and tekken (brilliant game) got crushed and the plastic broke. But the cd thingy looked fine. it completely had stopped working. funny thing is i then traded it in and got 8 pounds towards resident evil, and the guy in the store had no idea it was brokenbush-boi
That is very wrong!!! Selling a broken product is not a good thing to be done, no matter what your reason is.
No, it might be a little sharper due to the smaller screen though.Flame_Blade88Yes, the 3.8" screen of PSPgo is smaller. But you should also look at the resolution (pixels-by-pixels). Smaller screen doesn't always equals to sharper screen.
You can find the answer at wikipedia.org. It says there that, according to SCE (Sony Computer Entertainment), PSPgo (PSP Go a.k.a PSP-N1000) is not intended to replace the PSP-3000 version. It is designed to stand side-by-side with PSP-3000. The production phase of PSP-3000 will be continued along with the production of PSPgo. PSP-3000 production may get reduced a little bit to balance the market demand between PSPgo and PSP-3000. But it will not ended. PSPgo is meant as a more portable (mini) version of PSP while reducing a little comfort compared to PSP-3000. That's why Sony removed the UDM slot and reduced the screen size. Hence PSPgo also have similiar architecture with PSP-3000, Sony didn't gave it a code name PSP-4000 but PSP-N1000.are the psp go graphics going to be better then the 3000?
