@JRLennis They made up their mind of what it does. It does TV, Sports, and Call of Duty. TV TV TV, Sports sports, TV sports Call of Duty. It was in the presentation.
Um, so Sony won't discuss it? That pretty much verifies the same kind of used game model for the PS4. Remember when Microsoft wouldn't respond to any of the rumors and they all turned out to be partially or mostly true? The publishers are the ones trying to squash used games. Sony and Microsoft probably aren't hurt too much by used sales. But EA and Activision are and they want more money. The smaller game makers with smaller studios and budgets are closing up shop because they aren't selling millions and millions of copies of a game. Used game sales are a mixed bag. Good for some and not for others.
Why Microsoft why? EA just admitted that the online fee thing didn't work. I game a lot at my friend's house. Now I will have to install my games on his hard drive and pay a fee so we can play a game he doesn't own? Or take my whole damn system over there? Stupid!
Ok, why the hell would I want this then? I play a lot of campaigns and other offline arcade titles and not just multiplayer. Why would I have to be online to play a campaign portion of the game? And I have never used a Kinect in my gaming. Why would I want to use that either? Microsoft isn't doing squat to quiet these rumors which makes them seem all the more true.
I'm sorry but Bioshock 1 & 2 were great as games. I really enjoyed the gaming experience. I don't see what a movie could possibly add to that. I'm not a big fan of making games into movies and movies into games. Doesn't usually work out...
There isn't one image in all these that couldn't be changed manually onscreen with some brightness and contrast tweaking. Honestly if it wasn't for the pictures looking slightly lighter or darker than the comparison shot they would be near identical. So that is very good news for the PS3. Seems the developers have caught up and can produce the same visuals as the 360. But they are certainly not noticably "better" than each other. Just lighter or darker in my opinion.
There are such minor differences they could reverse the images and you wouldn't know which was PS3 and which was 360. I don't know why anyone would say that either system has the upper hand in graphics. They are about dead even.
