Well you guys have official done it with this post. After picking up and playing the Warcraft 3 campaign about 6 years ago I feel the time has come again. I had played and beaten it on a friends pc when it came out and had never owned the disc copy. So glad I have still kept it around after getting it.

@ command and conquer has fun campaigns. Most of them will be fine. Any RTS can be played without the keyboard, but if you want to be proficient, then yeah your going to need it. Battle for middle earth 2
#I play any game more than an hour out of the day my wife treats me like I have an addiction to heroin. Probably because I am so tuned into the game that I block out almost anything else. So it might always follow you, unless you find someone who understands that it takes more than an hour to immerse yourself sometimes depending on what your doing. W3 for instance or anything RPG related. Even RTS's. Try and get your parents involved in gaming. Could lead to something for better or for worse, or record them just sitting there all day. Might catch themselves being zombies.
I usually play on the hardest if not second to hardest difficult to offer if there are more than 3 options. As for w3 I am currently playing on broken bones.
I too find myself greatly immersed with secondary questing. As I have with the previous witchers as well. No let downs here
As someone who finds audio very important to creating atmosphere and helping in immersion, I'd have to say the music cutting on and off randomly. Whether it be talking to merchants (it should always be playing softly in the background), a cut scene, or sometimes just free roaming, there can be periods lasting minutes of nothing but stark silence. Also, the music doesn't loop many times. So a 5 minute track will play, then 2 minutes of nothing, then it'll suddenly start up again. Ugh.
These may be intentional design, but if they are, they're poor choices. Music should always be playing.
After reading that comment I've become very aware of it... Thanks
@StHapns247: Yes the frustration is there for me too, and when I come across a situation with plenty of archers I tend to rely heavily on Quen sign.
