Guyz thank you for your valuable response ... about the PSU ... i had a 450 watt unit but then i got it replaced with a 550 w gigabyte on the same day i got my vga card .. its not the psu ... i think i shud try wiping out all the PREVIOUS ATI drivers like mentioned and get back to u ... thankyou once again :)
Hi Guyz I recently happened to change my VGA Card from the ATI Radeon HD4670 1GB DDR3 to the Nvidia Geforce GTX460 1GB DDR5. All that while when I used the ATI card, I had no issues at all and could play most of the games at Max Settings with absolutely no graphical errors. The reason of the replacement was because the ATI card's fan got jammed and could no longer use it. Expecting the GTX 460 to be a way better card I bought it and so far cannot play one game properly which is very disappointing and heartbreaking :( Whenever I play a game (FIFA 11 or Test Drive Unlimited 2), the game goes well and good enough for about 5 to 10 minutes and then suddenly the graphics of the game goes all wrong like wrong colors and at times its like each graphical image got displaced here and there, but the game still runs and the audio still works and all I can do is ALT-F4 the game. I could seriously appreciate some help out here. My computer specifications are as given below, I know its not such a high end PC but it should definitely run FIFA 11 with no problems! P.S. All the drivers are up to date. Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @2.00GHz (2 CPUs) 4GB Ram NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460 1GB DDR5 Windows XP Professional x86
