@Overeduk8ed Agree, removable media is on it's way out. People need to get used to it. All things are headed to the cloud, sadly Gamestop, Best Buy and Amazon are going to take a major hit when this rolls down the pipe.

@Paul2004 The way they look at it, they aren't making any money on resales so it really won't affect them much.

Microsoft is right behind them, it's only a matter of time before you will get an announcement from them as well.

As angry as everyone is about this, if you want game companies to continue to make enough money to deliver the high quality games you expect, them resale of a used game is not making them a penny.In less than 5 years all DVD/BluRay media is going to disappear and you will not have the option to buy disk based games. Every thing will become cloud based.You might as well get used to it now!

2014 seems more realistic, Dev's are just starting to use the full capabilities of the PS3.

Over 6.5 million are now playing the game! This has to be one of the best games I have ever played. I bet even Blizzard didn't expect those numbers!

@Tangsta03 replay value is great, but the developer only needs to sell an x amount of units to cover the cost. If the fans don't buy it, then that is a separate issue.

It's great to see a Dev allowing time to make a polished game, instead of rushing it out the door before it's ready.
