I'll just say that looking for a "Citizen Kane" moment in video games is misguided and not relevant to the nature of the medium. As for what I quoted, it's a significant criticism of the industry as it stands today, in that despite the ageing demographics of the market the plots remain somewhat juvenile. That's a complain that resonated with me and I remarked on it over-hastily.
