I'd guess that later on there may be drivers for it to work as a webcam, but I can't see anyone flailing about infront of a computer, somehow I can see it infront of a TV.

Okay so I've got a 9800GT 512MB at the moment, I've had it since Nov 2008 when I bought this PC, it's pretty much crapped out on me, so I'm looking to buy a new card, I'm no enthusiastso my budget is about $150, here are the cards I've been looking at on Newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130514- $140 after rebate+shipping seems pretty good to me, no idea about the "2 free dl games," can't say I care to much.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150439- $150 Seems almost identical to the EVGA card, although this ones "Effective Memory Clock" is 2000MHz instead of 2200MHz, it's also $14 more, my friend just pointed it out that it comes with CoD 4,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133266- $110 after the deal+rebate, seems very standard, I heard their customer service is garbage, haven't heard the same about XFX or EVGA.
So I'm wonder what the best buy would be, I don't own a ton of graphics intensive games and the ones I do own I don't play often Gameplay>Sexiness, at the moment I'm leaning more towards the EVGA one, partially due to the fact I've heard they have a good warranty/customer service, and I read somewhere that they're mad easy to OC with some provided tool.
I also don't know much about ATI cards, I didn't look into them much.
Current specs:
Intel Quad Core 2.5Ghz
Nvidia 9800GT 512MB
8GB of Ram 667MHz (got it for dirt cheap :) )
400Watt PSU (I have a 600Watt PSU, just no need to put it in at the moment)
I have no clue what motherboard I have, sorry.
okay so im getting a new PC and it will arrive Friday, my 360 just got RRoD (ive had it since Christmas 05 no repairs) and because of that my dad said I could get a game for PC and I wouldn't have to pay for it so I plan on possibly using Steam with my new PC so here the questions
If I buy the Orange Box at like Best Buy can I still play with people who are using the downloaded Steam version?
Can I register the Orange Box on steam after I install it and then be able to not use discs and delete and redownload it as many times as I want?
If I bought a Non-Valve game such as Battlefield 2 from Best Buy could I play with people who have it on Steam and can I also register it and delete and download it as much as I want?
If I buy a game on Steam does that make it mine forever?
If I buy a game on Steam can I delete and redownload it as many times as I want?
If I buy the Orange Box from Best Buy can I buy Garry's Mod off steam and use that with my Disc version of the Orange Box?
How are my purchases on Steam protected? (If I buy a game on Steam does it register to my username)
I think thats everything I want to know, if u know anything that may help me with Steam please post it
I HAVE A QUESTION
360 just RRoD'd, i saw NXE for about 10-15 mins and created an avatar tho!
ok so i called up support and Mohammad Jihad answered after i said all this stuff to get there (i said "sexy" to get past one of the auto things) and it was of course kinda hard to understand him and basically what he told me was that i need to send in JUST my 360 nothing else and he gave me this magical number that i dont know what its for, he didnt say if they were shipping me a box and he said it would be free because of the extended warranty even tho i think that ended 2 days ago. so i went to xbox.com and hit "check my repair status" or something and it says my "standard warranty" has run out and has a little red box next to it and it highlighted yellow, so i have no clue wether my repair is free or not, so could someone tell me whether its free or not or should i call back, if i do call back what do i say?
also if i hit "check repair status" it says this
Current Status Details Repair order submittedWe will send you an e-mail shortly that contains a link that enables you to print your label online.

so what exactly do i need to do now after i called them once? sit around and wait for a box then put 360 in and idk what to do with the label or the magic number mohammad jihad gave me
I've been looking around Newegg.com and I'm not entirely certain of what all I need to build a PC as this would be my first time, but I have a budget of about $900 and I've only seen one PC that seems good for around that price and its a refurbished Gateway and like all PC companies I'm sure it's overpriced. So can anyone help me find some parts for under 900 bucks?
Preferably GeForce and Intel for GPU and CPU but it doesn't really matter it's just that Geforce number tend to go up and AMD is all over the place
