I think that Sony did this short on release on purpose. I think that they are just trying to get people to notice and pay more attention to the PS3. This way when they release more after x-mas there will be an already larger demand for them. Cause when you really think of it this is what Microsoft did and look at there sails. They did good during the holiday season and did just as good after. And the funny thing is that Sony did this with the PS2 at its launch. So I guess we can expect this kind of thing to continue on and on.
