By the way, in case you don't know a soft partition is essiantally:

Splitting the country into three diffirent regions according to the ethnic groups, but leaving it as Iraq.

Letting each region govern themselves.

Having a central government to distribute oil profits, and handle national security.

Having most US troops withdrawn by next summer.

It's the debate topic for this month.

And I'm having a hard time finding reason on why we SHOULD support a soft partition.

So I came to you guys for help, so if you can think of anything, feel free to help me out.

I'd just like to point out a double cheese-burger is:

Two patties;a bun; ketchup;mustard;onions;pickles;two slices of cheese;seasoning for the burger, and a wrapper.

They sell it for one dollar and make a PROFIT.

Other Presidents who did the same thing (off the top of my head):

Abe

Jackson

Adams

FDR

Just about every President from the guilded age..

Those are not up for debate.

Abe suspended habeous Corpus, Jackson ignored several supreme court descions (among a pile of other violations), Adams passed the alien and sedition acts which supended freedom of speech, and FDR rounded up Japanese citizens and put them in prison.

Are those things right? According to the constitution, no. And the same would go for what Bush is doing.

However these guys are rememberd as some of the greatest presidents we have had, and they have done things far worse than Bush.
