Nintendo's press conference was pretty much what I expected and that wasn't much.
They showed of Shaun White Snowboarding first, which seemed a little silly at first but the game looked pretty fun.
Then Nintendo just started talking and said something about philosophical thing err something just pointless banter and a a few burns toward MS and Sony.
Animal Crossing: they announced a new animal crossing for the Wii which include a Wii communication tool (finally!). It will not include anything over the top just real time like gameplay, you can mask your character as your Mii.
Reggie then showed up to show some DS crap and sales charts BLAH BLAH BLAH.
He then showed us three games
- Star wars-Clone Wars: They showed of some game play looks like a nice rent.
- Rayman Raving Rabids- Kind of like part 2 with Wii board mini games looks pretty cool.
- Call Of Duty 5: Wow we really don't need this for the wii...
Then they went on to show some DS games like:
- Spore: The DS version is set to focus more on the creatures featuring a cartoony look.
- Pokemon Rangers: Ugh disgusting..... nothing was shown.
- GTA-Chinatown Wars- I really hope it is nothing like GTA advanced, It will have its own engine so that sounds good.
They kept on talking about the DS and a bunch of channels that I really just don't care. They showed off a new wiimote app thing that just looks like a gimmick. And pretty much ended the show with the games:
Wii Sports Resort: Sword fighting!! That's about It unless you like dogs a lot cause theres a Frisbee game which has a miiish looking dog.Hmm I wonder If we will ever be able to creat a Miidog a Mog perhaps...?
Wii Music: This one was pretty cool you can play drums and flutes and even COWBELL... yes I said COWBELL!
The best of the show was well Animal Crossing. Only because of the wii communicator thing.And the fact It was the only actual game there for the Wii.
