O_Lineman17 I think your missing the point. Re-read the article again. It's talking about the effects of realistic looking characters to everyone but gamers. Why do you think people are getting all worked up over GTA? I think this article has a lot to do with how people in the US congress view our games as. The more realistic and bloody and graphic it becomes, it more scarry it appears to us. That image of "Uncanny vally" makes alot of sence.

I think people got alot more freakes out by Final Fantasy: The spirit within than with the Polar Express. I remember one person actually saying "LOOK AT HOW REAL THEY LOOK WHEN THE CHARACTERS KISS! THATS CREEPY!"
