Actually what I find scarier is that the photo was taken in the Everglades in Florida - Ive been there, I have a big ol' snake fear, and those things (did I point how how fricken' huge they are already?) were out there too and I had no idea *whimpers*.
Then theres this story...
" heard on the radio a few weeks ago about a woman's python that had gone off its food, she took it to the vet to see what could be causing the problem. She mentioned to the vet that the snake quite often would lay next to her when out of its enclosure. The vet could not find anything wrong with the snake. A few weeks later she returned to the vet because the snake was still not eating. the vet was pleased she had come back as he had had been reading up on pythons and had discovered the snake had most likely been sizing his owner up for a meal, that is why it had been starving itself and laying next to her. "
That's just not right. First of all, why would anyone have a python as a pet. Secondly why would you let it lie next to you?! That freaks me out. That woman is crazy. Like certifiable.

The story behind it sounds like a good idea right about now, what with all the stressing im doing - I have a 1200 word report to write for geography that no one knows how to do because the lecturers were really vague about it. We were never really told what was to be included in said report. Aaaand exams are coming up. First one is on monday and because of the report I havent even started revising :(
