How do you do a move that says left charge, right + (attack)? The book says to press the first direction briefly, but I've had a number of people over trying to get these kinds of moves to work, and we just can't do them. We usually end up doing them by accident.

Anyone got any good tips? How long do you press either direction? Are these really as impossible as we have found them to be?

I can do super and ultra combos easier than I can pull these kinds of super attacks off. Please help us, we're dying here!

If you have patience, the PS3 is a great buy. Just like the PS2, it's taking some time for the PS3's library to expand, but examples of games coming out this year are tastes of what is to come. Games will only get better for the PS3, and I'm glad I bought one, even for $600 back in the day.

I only played through the game once on normal, but I didn't find the Big Daddies too tough. Utilize the tools you have in strategic ways.

Lay mines before you attack in a trail leading to you. If the Rosies can't see you, they'll run towards your location until they can see you. Bouncers just blitz you. Two to three mines would do a good chunk of damage, then I could widdle them down with grenades, heat seeking rockets, a machine gun with armor piercing rounds, or a shotty with electric or explosive rounds (normal shot works really well too on an upgraded shotty). Try to have these weapons upgraded, I used them the most against Big Daddies and found them and their ammo strategies most useful.

Don't forget plasmids. Winter blast is good for freezing a Bouncer in place so you can get some distance and free damage on it. Swarm is all around good for damage and keeping them busy at times. If you can, use Fury (or Frenzy, I forget it's name) to make Splicers attack the Big Daddy you are tagerting BEFORE you attack it. Target dummies can keep Big Daddies off of your back.

Don't forget to research Big Daddies with the camera as much as possible (as well as Little Sisters). Every damage bonus you can get helps.

Good luck and godspeed.

I hear a lot of people complain about the controls. The way Resident Evil sets up its controls is important to the challenge of the game itself. If you could move while shooting, the game wouldn't be any where near as challenging as it is. They may have taken an action attitude towards the game, but it's still a survival horror, and they keep the controls the way they are for a reason. This isn't Devil May Cry.

But I do understand that maybe being able to move slowly while aiming would help. A good gamer adjusts to the challenge the controls give us, not complain about it, though.

The split screen isn't as good as it could be, but it was still awesomely fun and hectic! I'm excited for this game, through and through.

Because their stores are organized horribly, they push stuff on you, and Electronics Boutique was soooooo much cooler and easier to shop at.
