As bad as the ending is, it is worse to re-write history/art/narratives and pretend it didn't already happen. I hope the changes they are making are only to fill in plot holes or some type of an informational epilogue.

I haven't had a problem with availability of a game in at least 15 years. Pre-order is definitely for the extra goodies whether or not that is good or bad.
