According to the PlayStationBlog, PSN will be up and running sometime this week. Though we have one huge problem, Sony has finally answered us to the point of our personal data. They announced our information we submitted on our accounts has been taken. They are offering no support what so ever to users except telling them that U.S. residents get one free credit report annually. I just really think Sony could do a little more for the player base. I'm not saying they should give out free stuff or anything, but they could be the ones trying to stop anything from happening with our info. I am very upset with Sony for letting this happen. I do not want my personal information floating around on the Internet! I would like some answers, and a lot more support from Sony. I beleive that Sony by taking our information should do a lot more to protect it. I would very much like to call for a full report from Sony on a more regular basis than once a day.

I have not even got the email they sent out Supposedly, I really would like to trust Sony, but if someone has my credit card information I would like to know a lot more on the situation. I am not pleased with this one bit. I have tried to have an optimistic outlook for this whole ordeal, but this is not something I can be pleased with at all. I am very upset with Sony customer support as I get no answers from them now and they say they cant help with the situation. The whole point of having customer support is so that they can help the customers... I want the facts Sony, and if anything happens to my credit card info Im holding you and who ever did this responsible, this is indeed a matter worth bringing up in court. The part about the hackers getting info on where I live and such, big deal anyone can get that info on the Internet, but this just isn't right. I am very upset and I really hope Sony will wake up and see whats going on. I as one person can't get this message across to Sony. I need people to help. So if anyone has a similar fear, please help get this message across to Sony.

I personally say no. Though I do not appreciate how long it has been and still to getting PSN up and running, but in the long run its worth it. Sony provides everyone with the free service of using PSN and all other online exclusive content available through the PS3. All with no additional charge. Sony is not the enemy, the enemies are the ones who have caused this problem and the one who caused this also say they are doing this for us the consumers and users. But if you want my two sense about it, I say if they want to help us so much why don't they just fill a bowl with doritos for us or something of the sort. Anyone who thinks Sony should give its users free stuff for this incedent, please reconsider. Remember who caused this and turn focus to them. Sony has been our Friend. We shouldn't be upset with them, they helped us, so dont turn your back on them. I am not an employe of Sony or some share holder, but an individual user and an owner of both a PSP and PS3. I think were fortunate Sony is trying to fix PSN afterall, its a free service and they have no real commitment to free users so I say lets be happy with what we have got and not complain.

Its not maintenance. If you recall correctly, yesterday we were receiving the error code "80710A06". That is not a maintenance error code. PSN maintenance code is "80023017". This is definitely the work of the third party group that hide behindthe name anonymous. Anonymous is fighting for the right to jailbreak there PS3's. This goes against the user agreement. It is indeed something I believe should be met with legal action. Even if the group hides. I think it would be smart of SONYto get the right to collect the IP and other info of these people. In my mind this action should be approved and be dealt with instead of Sony putting PSN in lock-down, which is the"80710A06" code. People who want to jailbreak there PS3's are stupid and just trying to be able to get things for free, and in a very unlawful manner. This all started after the release of the 3.50 update which allowed 3d support, by the way, thank you SONY for that. The update not only enabled new features, but took away the right for people to jailbreak there PS3's, which is a good for the community. Though a 21 year old kid created a way to jailbreak the PS3. SONY took him to court, and the man with support from others was able to pay off the lawsuit. Though the code is still out there, and as he stated "once its out there, its out there". Though SONY is now being attacked by the group anonymous who demand to be able to jailbreak there PS3's. I for one say anonymous should back down and just follow the law instead of being hackers who ruin the lives of others.

if only there would be a new good shooter out for the psp ever now and than to play! the problem is sony just wants it on the ps3 to compete with microsoft's xbox 360! I can only dream that sony would release a new shooter to take where ever you go on the psp! life is to short to expect to have a good shooter on the psp!
