  Shadow of the Colosuss. You've,  heard of it, and as hard as it is to spell it this title is equally as difficult to hear people talking about it. G4TV recently gave this platforming adventure the title of  3rd best game for the Playstation 2; solid proof of this games true form.

   In short, you play as a man desperate to bring his girlfreind back from the dead. In his despair he liturally travels to the ends of the world itself to a temple that may bring his wish to closure.

  But this comes with a colossal price tag, he must defeat 16 towering colossi in order for his maiden to leave the void.

  The gameplay is simply phenomenal, in the case where franchises such as GTA can do many things poorly, this game is strictly the opposite. The main mechanic involves platforming,but not platforming as in from rock to rock; you must use all your strenght and guile to scale and destroy each colossal fiend you encounter. Each offers same basic gameplay but with much variation in the strategy of each battle.

  I have given you the basic idea, and you may not understand the game, please watch footage of this game to realize it is truly a diamond among dust, and an epic game to grasp your captivation from end to end.
