After watching the Microsoft press conference at E3 2011 I found myselffeeling undershlemed. They showed us footage of Halo CE Anniversary, Halo 4 and a few other games that appealed to me, but almost all of the games that were made for Kinect looked terrible and uninteresting to the hardcore gamer. The features Microsoft is adding to Xbox Live are interesting. The television shows and youtube would have been great about 1-2 years ago. The problem with them adding television shows and youtube to Xbox Live for me and many other users is that my internet providerhas recentlyimposed data caps on my internet usage. Although I am not entirely sure how many megabytes/gigabytes are used when streaming things like an HD movie on netflixor streamingother HD content will use, I know that these things will add up. Depending on the size of the content I am streaming, I may never use these features. For me, the fact that I may not use the features on Xbox Live, and the fact that a small percentage of the games that were shown appealed to me, this has been one of the worst Microsoft press conferences I have ever seen.
