first of all most of you like halo far too much its overated, probably not as much as gears but still.
Also a lot of you are picking weapons cos someone uses them and its cool. Eg altairs hidden blade, if i have to be harsh about it its just a knife sorry.
i would have 2 lists because theres gotta be old weapons and new weapons from games come and gone.
First of all old weapons.
1. The mad cow or super sheep from worms world party. that was inventive.
2. then theres the crowbar in half life 1 which was amazing i mean it was the first weapon you got in one of the best fps of all time. enough said.
3.it has to be cloud's sword from ff7 that big cleaver thing, that was awesome.
4.maybe the stinger missile or nikita rocket on mgs1, another awesome classic game. i remember controlling it for the first time hitting that guy in the butt. i just remembered the porn mag aswell, dunno if tht was in mgs2 but thats awesome.
5. the turtle shell in mario games, the noise it makes says enough.
The new list. which does not have the sniper rifle from halo cos everygame has a sniper now its not needed.
1. the lancer because of the chainsaw on it its a chainsaw on a gun how can that not be the perfect weapon
2. kratos's chain blades. pulling the eyes out of giants with them was so satisfying.
i dont play that many new games but tbf nearly every weapon has been covered anyway. maybe the energy sword would be a good contender, but then that would have to go in with other swords, eg tidus's brother hood sword or dantes agnus and edis flame and ice swords in devil may cry 3. im sure mercanaries had some awesome expolsive weapons but there not the best weapons of gaming.
