I think its kinda odd too. But I can't really say anything 'coz I haven't played the PS3 version of Oblivion, so can't say if there's something that makes it 0,1 points worse than the X360 version.

Just wait for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Fable 2 and Mass Effect. Those games are going to be huge!
