1. there is a small part of the distance between the router and the wii that is actually outside so im not sure a super long cable would work.
2. cant really afford another router.
is it possible to connect it through just a normal phone line? there is one of those right next to the wii
oh and i just remembered, it isnt possible to move the wii either as i would have to move the tv (we only have one) and it would be a pain to move it and the tv back and forward every time i wanted to go online
Hi i made this profile ages ago and never used it but i have a problem and thought id ask anybody on here (btw im not really that tech savvy)
So i have a wii and a wireless router but they are at opposite ends of my house. the wii wont pick up the signal on my router even though all the "professionals" say it should. my wireless enabled laptop wont even pick up the signal from out there. i think it might be that there is a bit too much interference in between (walls, cordless phones, radio, mobiles, microwaves etc). so then i thought id have to connected it with wires. there is a phone socket close to the wii but i would have no idea what to use. my mum uses the wireless internet for her laptop and because i go to boarding school my laptop isnt configured to use the internet but it can still pick up the signal. when i try to use the internet it says it needs some ceritificate and im not sure if that would mean problems with the wii.
im getting brawl soon too so i want this internet working soon :D
