I have noticed a disappointing trend in gaming, developers just don't want to challenge people in the singleplayer experiences, they just make a pretty and cinematic ride with little challenges. Sure, you have to actually try to win, but not much else effort is needed. However, one game has gone against this trend in recent days, Far Cry 2, although it is not impossible, the average person will get stomped on normal difficulty (I play on Hardcore ;) until they get good at fighting and/or plan out their attacks thoroughly. Developers, beleive it or not, I like getting my ass handed to me once in a while, its part of what makes games fun.

I've had computers since the late 1970's, and I've been gaming since then also. I can't understand how developers today can release some of the crap that has been put on the market.

Listen up developers! Linear gameplay and CHECK POINT SAVE SYSTEMS are the kiss of death to any PC product.

Don't make me come out there and smack you!
