@jrt1979: The quality for one thing. It's beautiful and compliments the visual aspects of the game. It's also extremely immersive. It's probably the most important element in this game in terms of directing the plot and create the right atmosphere.

Also, this is the kind of game that is best played with headphones.

I would go so far as to say that this game has the best sound design I've come across in recent memory.

Mark Hammil was in and starred in the video game, NOT the 1999 film that flopped, although he does have an uncredited cameo.
