I seem to have a constant battle between playing single player and multiplayer games. Ever since i received my PS3 (and now xbox) the world of online gaming was revealed to me and I just seem to have no time for the once loved single player storylines. At the moment sitting on my shelf, just waiting to be completed lies: Modern Warfare 3, Assassins Creed, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Grand Theft Auto IV and soon to be added the remastered Shadow of the Collossus and ICO. Wow...time to close the door, cap the net and hit the solitary, wandering life of the single player adventurer.

Ohhhh Sony (part 2)
by footelong7 on Comments
so, i know that i rant at Sony a fair often but honestly, i think i have every right to. As most of you will know, PSN is down and has been for the last 12 or so hours, no warning whatsoever. I'm really getting sick of this, like really, and each time something like this happens the xbox is looking much more appealing to me, even more so that I had a few hour sesh of online halo with my friend the other day. so Sony better smarten their act, sort out their security issues with these hackers and just have a realiable service that consumers can RELY ON!!
The holiday of completion
by footelong7 on Comments
so, i've decided that over these 2 weeks of easter holidays, i will complete, or at least try to complete, all of the campaigns and story's of my ps3 games. Today i kicked it off with the completion of uncharted: drakes fortune, which enables me to get no.2 among thieves before no.3 drakes deception comes out. but first i need to complete: red dead redemption, splinter cell: double agent, rainbow six: vegas 2, cod 5, cod 6 and if i have time i'm going to try for bc1 again. So, wish me luck and don't go round being sad, thinking that i won't be playing multiplayer with you guys, I will, but top of the list is completing games. (im hoping to nail RDR tonight, so here i go)

i noticed today as some of you may slso have notice the ps2 tab is now gone. A few years ago the xbox tab left us but the ps2 tab held on but has now sadly been replaced by the 3DS. (honestly i dont know why they didnt just combine it with the ds). The ps2 was one of my favourite game consoles which i still play and buy games for to this day and i am extremely sad and bereaved, bitter, blue, cheerless, dejected, despairing, despondent, disconsolate, dismal, distressed, doleful, down, down in dumps, down in mouth, downcast, forlorn, gloomy, glum, grief-stricken, grieved, heartbroken, heartsick, heavyhearted, hurting, in doldrums, in grief, in the dumps, languishing, low, low-spirited, lugubrious, melancholy, morbid, morose, mournful, out of sorts, pensive, pessimistic, sick at heart, somber, sorrowful, sorry, troubled, weeping, wistful, woebegone (thankyou thesaurus.com). Now if eveyone would take a minutes silence in rememberence of The PlayStation 2, a sixth-generation video game console manufactured by Sony and its tab ...................................................................................... Thank-you. lest we forget this great console's tab.

Connection problems
by footelong7 on Comments
ok well, this is sort of a blog/help me out guys type of thing. Every so often my I turn on my ps3 and it doesnt sign me in to the playstation network. and it really bugs me because my computer connects to the internet. Now before i go ahead and point the finger at sony and complain once more about their products i've been wondering whether it may be my internet connection. anyway, if you guys could help me out by telling me if you have this problem ever. it usually happens to me every 2ish weeks....
not much of a blog
by footelong7 on Comments
i know its not much of a blog but i can't really put this up on facebook or anything. but today i got darwins parachute, the best part is, i did it without dying. Before i continure, i did know that jumping out of a helicopter would get me a trophy, so, yeah. anyway i've never really gotten around to it. the few times i do fly a heli i always am just so tempted to fly and then i get blown up. it's while i wait to respawn that i remember why i was in the helicopter in the first place, to get the trophy, not fly round and do rolls and look like an idiot at an air show. but today i got it and i jumped out of a half roll before i flew myself out of the combat area and i was falling and falling, just waiting for the inevitable but when i opened my eyes, i was taking a mere paddle in the lake/river/ocean/oceon in end of the line. I HAD COMPLETED DARWINS PARACHUTE AND NOT DIEAD!! so much for not much of a blog :P

excuse the u[ward arrows, gamespot does not allow a full caps lock title. i don't know if i spelt finaly correctly. definition: a common expression used once one has completed something after an extensive amount of time, not the big finish of a fireworks show. This being my sig, after weeks of trying to upload an image as my signature i found out how to d it. instead of going to options, forums and the scrolling down to the big orange browse button and selecting a picture, all you have to do was go to the text box above that and select the little tree icon and put the image url in there. but..... once i did upload my image i discovered that the bottom 2 banners could not bee seen as my sig was to big. after an hour or two of tweaking the image so that it is small enough to fit the size requirements but large enough to read i uploaded my sig. YAY! check it out in my photos or any of my forum posts (mostly in the bfbc union). tell me what you think and feel free to give me any tips for improvement. saints lead the way!!
Oh sony......

As some of you may or probably don't know, iahev have experienced the ps3's yellow light of death. Don't get me wrong, ps3's are great but for sony to charge an arm and a leg to get it fixed rather than, as microsoft does, taking it back for free and giving you a new one. I think the thing that annoys me most about this problem is that sony still denies that it is a system fault and they refuse to take responsibility for it. Sony, please smarten up otherwise i might start looking at another console, xbox.

oh man. here we go. i was caught, kinda, cus i wasnt really doing anything wrong. but, back to the beginning. having a great game of bc1 with GTR and beano, really great, couple of team kills and i was on my way, when my mother came downstairs and raged. im sure everyone knows what its like to be playing and have a parent rage. the kitchen being a bombshell probably didnt help too much either. so that being said, footelong7 is no longer allowed to play 'games' during the week for 3 more weeks till holidays, just i was finally settling into sniping and bc1 too. and also having a great laugh with our drive by's and team kills :D
