so a while back my final fantasy 13 stopped working properly. every time i put the disc in the ps3 makes a couple clicks and then the ejecting noise but the disc doesnt actually eject and the game doesnt show up on the xmb. i have to eject and reinsert the disc 5-6 times before the playstation actually reads the disc. i read online that thats a common issue with dual layar discs but then this week my ps3 starting doing the same thing with my skyrim game. i noticed it started doing it right after i installed the latest skyrim patch but that might just be a coincidence. any ideas why this would be happening? hopefully my ps3 laser isnt dying or something

wardragon

I have the same clicking sound, and the game refuses to read the second disc when the game prompts me to insert it. I insert, the XB360 makes lots of humming noise like it is trying to read, then the clicks or taps, tapping noise starts, and then I know it will not read the disc.

The disc looks perfect to me, not a scratch! I cleaned it with Windex many times in-between each try for good measure, still will not read it.

I think it is a conspiracy by Microsoft. They programed some XB360s to not be able to read many discs, thus the clicking tapping sound, to screw over Gamestop.

If this is the bit I think it is, go to the garage & stand near the car ramp, it will activate a way in to the resistance base.Justinps2hero
I already tried that 5 times!!

Guess one more try might work.

I am in the Subway Town. I have completed my mission very cleverly called "Ark Equipment." I had to travel to another part of the Wasteland, find the ark, recover the decrypter, and locate the jackal canyon to the northeast. I did all that.

Now, it simply says, "Deliver the Decrypter to Lassard." There is only one slight problem: WHERE THE HELL IS LASSARD??? I have searched far and wide. I spent hours looking for this Lassard guy. I searched Subway Town top to bottom, and I have found nobody named Lassard!!!!!!!!!!! I completely forget where to find him. There are so many people just walking around. When I talk to them they just spout nonsense, they do not help me at all.

The map says that Lassard is in Subway Town.

PLEASE HELP! I have played all ID Software games. This is the first time that I am starting to think that maybe this ID Software game is a POS.

I have the exact same problem. I bought Crysis Maximum Ed. from Gamestop (EB Games in Canada). I was asked for my CD Key when I tried to play for the first time, but when I looked in my shoebox full of PC game manuals that contain all of my games' respective CD Keys, I could not find the Crysis Wars CD Key. I will try the Crysis Warhead CD Key. Hope this works! Thanks for the great thread.

What was up with that Gamestop employee acting so "scared?" Not like you could do anything to him, most Gamestop locations have more security cameras than a bank.
