So, I got into UC Berkeley last year and now I'm in my second semester there (well, right now I'm home for spring break), majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I'm a beast and got a solid 4.0 first semester, hoping to keep that up, and I don't think I'm being overly optimistic about that. Over the summer my monitor died, but before I figured that out I thought it was my graphics card, so I replaced it with a gtx270, and managed to convince my dad to let me keep it even though I didn't need it (I replaced my monitor with a big, cheap, 21.5" 1080p screen from Acer). Soon after school started I bought 4GB of DDR2 1066 memory and installed that. Just recently I set it up to dual boot XP and Win 7, I'll probably spend at least a few months, if not a solid year making the slow transition to using Windows 7 100% of the time. For school I have a Dell laptop that runs Windows 7, but I don't use it for gaming or anything interesting so it's easier to make the change there. Also got a Motorola Droid in January, wrote a couple test apps for it, hopefully I'll stop dicking around and actually write something interesting for it. Got invited to the SC2 beta, but my roommate plays it a lot more than I do, he plays 2v2 and got into gold league, while I'm still stuck in copper playing 1v1.
