@id0ntkn0w7: as a person who just learned that this game has existed for a whooping 6 years, I can agree there. Pretty sure it's fun (to an extent), but really, it's extremely hard for any GaaS to survive, left alone one without guns. Most people like some kind of violence in their gaming. Hell, I know people IRL who reject Outer Wilds for it's lack of combat (I keep trying though).

Just from the top of my head I can think of a couple hidden gems, I won't blame you if you never heard of them: Donkey Kong land and Pokémon Blue/Red.

I know, pretty niche stuff.

@cfmjr: Thanks for the long post. Now, as for the "woke" audience, it's probably due to the very likely possibility that some esg investment fund has money in the show's particular production company, but I haven't checked.

Of course idolising anyone, specially Hollywood folk, is stupid, but I've liked Nick for years, because he's badass and a carpenter. Also he can pull of some excellent acting at will, like in Fargo season 2.

I think they are gay because of the magazine and their relationship, and I just got comfortable with that kind of relationship, I like that direction Naughty Dog chose in this occasion. Even if ND went ahead and explicitly said they're not, I would have preferred if they were. Personal opinion.

And about Ellie falling for another girl, well, I fail to imagine anyone wanting to spend time with Bela Ramsey's Ellie, she's insufferable and plain. Videogame Ellie is a much better actress than Ramsey, by miles.

Personally I didn't love Pascal in this show either, he's just the mandalorian without the helmet. But he's having a moment in his career, and he is popular among geeks, so that's surely why he was cast. Too sad Grogu, a puppet, has heaps of charisma over Bela Ramsey.

@millionsedge: 100% honestly I thought M$oft already did put this game to die. Personally Halo ended with reach, 343 is best left out.

Surely that question was a spontaneous one *wink, wink*

Of course she wants it, more work = more money.

Totk delayed to last quarter, to match with the new console, along with another 20 seconds video so youtubers can make 6 months worth of income.

You say the bubble is about to burst, yet you mention quite a few successful titles and some others that are still going well (ESO, Destiny 2, even division 2 and Guild wars 2to some extent, etc). I don't know how many games we need out there, there are lots already.

Personally, I like to play a game and move to the next. And go back to a previous game only if buddies want some online time or there's a major update.

@cfmjr: 2 things:

1- it was never going to be a sci-fi adventure; as in walking dead, this is a story about people, with zombies/infected as narrative vehicle.

2-Agreed on that a whole episode spent on that is overkill, and personally I don't think a sexual preference should be the flagship of one's personality. Although in real life characters like Bill wouldn't tell they're gay either, but this being a fictional show, they can choose to show this intimate part of, otherwise, very manly men.

Anyway, I can't be angry with Offerman, dude is my idol.
