[QUOTE="WiiRocks66"]

You're better off with a plasma. Plasmas are 60hz, not 600hz as advertised(because that's subfield drive, not refresh rate, two completely different things), but they have no motion blur.

DecadesOfGaming

burn in !

I have been gaming on plasma screens for 10 years and burn in has not been a real worry the last 7 years. I currenly game on Pioneer Juros and Panasonic g10s.

All in all I rate gaming on tvs as 1080i crts>plasma>lcd/led>bunny ear box

I figured this is not really about the xbox 360 slim so it did not need to be in the stickied thread.

I have had my new 360 since last Thursday and have noticed the controller that comes with the new 360 is heavier. I've now let 6 different people hold them both and asked what one is heavier. Everyone chooses the new 360 controller. Has anyone else noticed this and if they have do they have any information on what is different about it. They are the same size and use the same rechargeable battery packs.

I blew through it pretty quick because I loved it so much. I will probably play through it again in a few months. I had one of my freinds try it out and I noticed tons of things I had not noticed before because I already new what was going on. Plot links and what not. So before the download content comes out I will play through it again so I am all fresh!

I have hundreds of games I have never even touched much less left unfinished. Probably half my collection of games is unfinished or unplayed. With games constantly coming out that I want to try I never have enough time to finish anything. I will start to play a game, put it down for something else, come back to it a year later, put it down to finish a game and then start playing it until new systems come out and then it sits thier needing to be finished.

Heck I have been playing Fallout 3 since it came out off and on. I am only level 12. I recently put it down for Alan Wake. Started playing RDR only to put it down to play through Mario Galaxy 2. Now I am juggling Mario Galaxy 2 and RDR. Mario Galaxy at lunch for an hour and then RDR for and hour at night. Who knows when I will finish them?!? Hopefully before Metriod other m comes out!

I purchased red dead redemption, alan wake, assasins creed 2, lost planet 2 and tomb radier underworld all on what ever day red dead and alan wake came out. I beat alan wake and started red dead but Galaxy 2 has been taking on most of my gaming time lately.

I use to get accused of using a modded controller constantly on Halo 1-3 and gears of war 1 when using pistols.Yet I haver never used a modded controller. The reason I use pistols is because I can fire them so fast. The only games I have ever used modded controlers on are RTS for consoles. I always use a keyboard mouse set up with them because that is how I have always played rts. I do tell anyone I play before hand that is what I use.

No clue. I have been collecting since about 1984. I know I have over 1000 games. I mean I have 172 just for the 360, 30 for the ps3 and 45 for the Wii. On the cube I have around 100, 200 on the ps2 and 50 on the xbox. On the N64 probably around 75 and probably around 150 on the ps2. Genesis probably around 70. Dream cast probably around 70. Saturn I have 15. Jaguar I think 2 neo geo about 50, ds about 50, psp 5, game boy advance 20, game boy 15, genesis maybe 40, snes probably 150, nes probably 100. Then I have various games of the PC, neo geo pocket, atari ect that I never keep any kind of track of. I would say rough guestament around 2500?

You forget that when you group all modders together you forget those like me that just mode the asthetic looks of their console. My favorite 360 is modded with a custom cut out case, a liquid cooling suystem and nifty green led lights. That does not enable me to cheat in anyway.

I hope the never drop the Zune product, it is my favorite MP3 Player ever. When my Ipod got stolen 4-5 years back I picked up a Zune 30 (49 dollar black friday deal)and have not looked back. I know have a zune 120 and a zune hd. My old 30 I modded into a Zune 80 (was easy to do) and gave it to my fiance, she has since ditched her sasna and ipod players that she loved. The Zune is a really great product and I am glad I picked one up!
