ME3 is a very linear game. They have pretty much removed side quests (N7 missions hardly count), most of them are finding item X during story mission Y, and if you happen to miss item X you can purchase it to complete the quest. You still travel between planets on the Normandy like ME2 but they put a nice shiny sticker on where you're headed so it's near impossible to get lost. They also removed the planet scanning system, now you send out a nice little pulse and it tells you if any of the surrounding planets are worth your time.Temperedelm
They also removed almost all dialogue choices. 97% of the "conversations" are Top Option, or Bottom Option (Nice guy, less-nice guy). It's absolutely disgusting, taking a game that HAD great depth, and watering it down for the shooter-kiddies.
I can't even play the singleplayer since completing it the first time...it just makes me feel ill, knowing that those hundreds of hours amounted to three endings that are the same, regardless of what I've ever done.
