My first time playing video games was Atari 2600 from there I moved to NES, the first Nintendo, I had two of them the first day they were released, one for the living room and one for my bedroom, I had over 100 games and the accessories like the Power Glove, and the Track and Field mat. Next, the Sega Master System, one of my favorite games was Alex the Kid and Monopoly. Then I got the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, I played games like Earth Worm Jim, Mortal Kombat ( for Sega because it had blood) Star Fox, Sonic, Moon Walker, Pat Riley's Basketball, I could go on and on, as this is my favorite era of video games:).
I also had Sega CD, Sega Game Gear, Game Boy, Neo Geo and Sega Saturn, as you can see I was a big Sega fan, I couldn't stop, so I kept up grading like from Game Boy to Game Boy Color. I loved playing video games, even my mom played them, I remember her making me go to bed and I could hear her playing Mario Brothers:cry:, at rare times she would beat me at games like Eternal Champions, Columns and Mortal Kombat:evil: . If I didn't have my own money she made sure I had what ever system I wanted at launch, I moved on to Playstation, oh my God, that was the system that brought me GTA and Resident Evil, I played at night with all the lights off and yes, those dogs that jumped threw the window, made me almost crap myself. Nintendo 64, was huge for me too with Mario 64, Mario Kart, Perfect Dark, War Gods, and Golden Eye, just to name a few. 007 is still one of my favorite shooters that I still hook up and invite people to play, we mostly play, one shot one kill, turbo mode, with pistols only, I won a tournament in that game and I am still beasty too8).
Sega Dream Cast, when this 1st dropped I didn't have the money, so I called my mother and told her it drops at midnight, she was excited about it and told me to get the money and buy it now. DC is one of my favorite systems ever, with Internet, playable memory cards, 1 of the best controllers ever, it was ahead of its time with great games too, like Power Stone and Marvel vs Capcom, to name 2. Playstation 2, man this was a good system, I even had one put in my SUV with mad TV's, so we could play on the go, with games like, Fight Night, Final Fantasy series, Midnight Club, Onimushua, Resident Evil series, The Get Away, GTA series, etc. Playstation 2 was the system with all the games and I played most of them but I also had the Game Cube, only for Resident Evil Zero, Metroid, Eternal Darkness and a few other games that I cant think of at the moment, this is 1 of my least favorite systems, I sold it quickly;).
Xbox gets it's own section:o, a few days before it's release my peoples from NY, where I'm from, came to visit me and had a gift of 46 Xbox's brand new in a U-Haul8), with games and controllers. I sold all but 3, I kept 2 for myself and gave my nephews 1, I sold 43 in 2 days, for $200.00 a pop and games was $25, controllers was $15, I only had 2 memory cars and gave them away. Later one of mine got the RROD, which most people don't know it happened back then because it was rare, one of the people and Funcoland, as it was called before Gamestop, owed me because I sold him a Xbox, so we switched serial numbers and he gave me a new one and the one with RROD he sent back. This was a great system and became my preferred system of choice with Halo, Fable, Ghost Recon, etc, I loved the controllers, even the fat one, as I have big hands and the hard drive was great.
This Gen, I have been there at every launch for each system, I couldn't wait for the Xbox 360, after the Xbox I was a MS fan (not fanboy) my first few games I bought was COD 2 and NFS Most Wanted, when I got home I think two drops of pee came out from pure excitment. I cant not say enough about this system it's the best console ever in my opinion, it does have flaws though, just not many, and I invest in this console greatly with all multi-platform and exclusive titles and all the accessories. Playstation 3, Sony has made some mistakes in my opinion, that I wont disclose because I haven't spoke badly about any other system on here ( maybe the Game Cube but come on:P ). PS3 has a great blu-ray feature and some great exclusive titles out and coming, like Motor Storm, Resistance, MGS 4, they are working to improve the online and the online community and it's free, group that with features like Remote Play, that use the PSP and you can see why it's my 2nd favorite system this gen. Wii, I mainly got this for my kids but I also like to play the old games, I did purchase Zelda TP, Metroid, Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart, I don't have much to say about this system, with the lack of games for hardcore gamers.
In Jan-08 my house was broken into and they stole a lot of stuff, LCD, PS3, 360, Wii, brand new digital cam, and the worst I had about $15,000 in cash here too:o  :( :? :evil:the next day I went a bought everything again:D. So now I have that and a PSP, 5 Nintendo DS lites (for my kids too) 2 MS Zunes, laptop, Nintendo 64, 2 LCD's, 1 Plasma, surround sound and my PC, in my game room.
