[QUOTE="Fightingfan"] I still find it funny Fidel Castro abolished segregation before America, and has better healthcare than America. We need more totalitarian-socialist governments.Fightingfan

i do not support socialism nor totalitarian governments, though the latter can work much better than a democracy.

The problem is democracy provides a placebo for the poor - they think their voice/vote is heard and that they're free. America needs to go back to its roots, the founding father's didn't like democracy and central banks for a reason Murica...

You should read platos "Republic", i think you'd like it.

Labour should be relagated to under paid foreigners and to the failures of the educational system. No self respecting human should want such a job. If you work as a labourer it is either due to your own failings or the failings of your government. A strong technocratic government should do every thing in it's power to keep its citizens away from those jobs, if it can not it allows its citizens to want these unskilled jobs then that government has either failed as a government or has not fully developed.

[QUOTE="frannkzappa"]

this is the folly of the publicly elected government.

Democracy can lead only to corruption and failure.

If the government was an authoritarian technocracy this situation would not exist.

Laihendi

Are you being serious? Any unchecked authoritarianism leads to corruption. Obviously democracy does not work when the politicians elected hold as much power as they do, but the problem is that they are allowed to hold all of that power not that they are being democratically elected. Democracy can work in a strictly limited government (that is really the only time it can work).

Authoritarian is too general a term if you want to talk about corruption. What will stop corruption is a hyper authoritarian technocratic meritocracy with heavy emphasis on the last two words. In that system corruption is eliminated and the public is kept educated, happy and useful by a supremely strong centralized government operated by a highly trained and educated bureaucracy. The idea of a limited government is idiotic and will only serve to limit mans potential until that limited government is either destroyed from within by the stupidity of the individual and the popular mob or by the strength of a less restricted foreign government.

[QUOTE="tagyhag"]Governments are corrupted, more news at 11. This is why I should be the dictator.jimkabrhel

What will you offer the masses to keep them docile?

Well a proper authoritarian state should offer the public three things:education, entertainment and employment. thats all the public should require.

[QUOTE="Chicken453"] But Shingeki no Kyojin wasn't written by an actual 14 year old.Lucky_Krystal

I was just being a douche

It does look promising. But I'll reserve judgement until I see more episodes. And I'm not hoping its gonna be the "best animu evar!!!11" like some people are toting it as.

If you read the manga and you would know you have nothing to worry about.

it just keeps getting better every chapter.

[QUOTE="Laihendi"] You cannot have communal and private property. That is absurd. If you understand the concept of private property then you understand that communal property is a contradiction. If something is owned by everyone, then it is not owned by anyone. If anyone is entitled to claim it, then now one can possess it. Yes landed property is needed to survive. You live on land owned by someone else. If you just lived under a tree in a public park then any bum could use brute force to make you leave. Your life is only secure to the extent that you have an exclusive claim on a piece of land.worlock77

You cannot seriously be this stupid.

I love the part where he contradicts his randian ideology.
