Mint, Cherry, White, Dark? Hmm?
LG's released some new colors for their popular "Chocolate" music phone. (Yeah, I have one.) The 3 new colors are cleverly named: Mint (green), Cherry (red), and White (well, white).
I saw someone the other day with a white one, it looks just like an iPod. I have the black one, but I have to say if I could, I would trade it for a white one. It's just a lot cooler lookin'.
The control "touch" buttons can be a little finicky at times, but it can be fixed by changing the sensitivity settings for them.
Anyway, enough with the sweet stuff. The next gen is here! (And has been for a couple weeks)
After both Sony and Nintendo's new consoles have been out for a couple weeks now, it's pretty safe to say the next gen is here (Hell, I could have said that a year ago as well... damn you laggers!)
So what now? A lot of people that this point have completely given up on Sony after multiple broken promises and horrible BC (which could probably be fixed with a firmware update) along with countless other grudges. But is it Sony we hate? Or is just the PS3?
After a huge success of the PS2, You'd think Sony would be the top dog. I wonder why everyone turned their backs? Whatchu think?

Hello again folks, welcome to the land of Updateyness.
The Xbox 360 has received some updates today. Major Nelson has reported a new Backwards Compatibility update for the 360. Which includes Far Cry: Instincts, MotoGP, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Rainbow Six: Lockdown, and tons more. Click here to see the entire list.
Along with the new BC update, Rainbow Six: Vegas also got an update. The update for RS:V fixes some bugs with the voice recognition in single player, along with a bug that made the game crash when you killed Dr. Smythe. (Yeah, I don't know who he is either)
If you want to read all the lovely details and fixes with the Rainbow Six: Vegas update, click here.
Ah yes, and I received an email from Gamefly yesterday saying that my copy of Gears of War has been shipped. Yee! Now I can finally see what all the hype is about.
I've also been comparing XM radio and Sirius radio lately this past week or so. My 3 day trail for XM (online) expired last night, and I just signed up for Sirius (the 3 day online trial) and so far it's pretty good. I have Dish Network so I can listen to Sirius for free on my TV. I fell in love with this one station on Sirius called 'The Beat.' It takes like the top 40 songs and remixes them. I love the station and I can't stop listening! I never knew I had that station on my Dish Network, so now I'm not going to get either of them. I'm just going to listen to it on TV, and considering I hardly ever leave my bedroom craving music it should suit me just fine. ;)
So it all worked out great! I got GoW, Sirius's "The Beat" and a pocket of money! (Well, I wish)

So, Microsoft's XNA Game Studio was finally released on the 11th. Am I the only one who doesn't care? I suppose it's good for those looking into the game creator career, but I really couldn't care less about it myself.
But I do have to say I've been eying the "XNA Racer" game. You can check out a short clip of the game at the page for XNA on GameTrailers. Check out the 'Games Montage' video. You can see the clip of the XNA Racer at the very end of the video. I want to play it, seems pretty fun.
Moving along, Spike TV's VGA (Video Game Awards, if you've been living under a rock) aired last night. I TiVo'd it and just finished watching it (commercial free, I might add. I love you DVR!) and wasn't really impressed, but not necessarily disappointed either. The only thing I really liked about the show was Samuel's jacket at the very end of the show. That thing was tight!
If you didn't catch it, the awards went like this:
Game of the Year: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Critic’s Choice: Twilight Princess
Best Driving Game: Burnout Revenge
Best Individual Sports Game: Tony Hawk’s Project 8
Best Action Game: Dead Rising
Best Team Sports Game: NBA 2k7
Cyber Vixen of the Year: Alyx Vance
Best Song: Yellowcard - Lights and Sounds
Best Soundtrack: Guitar Hero II
Studio of the Year: Epic Games
Best Wireless Game: SWAT Force
Best Original Score: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Best Fighting Game: Mortal Kombat Armageddon
Best Shooter: Gears of War
Best Military Game: Company of Heroes
Best Graphics: Gears of War
Best Handheld Game: New Super Mario Bros.
Best Multi-Player Game: Gears of War
Breakthrough Technology: Nintendo Wii
Best PC Game: Company of Heroes
Best RPG: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Most Addictive Game: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
And of course, the game of the year: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Gears of War was nominated for the GOTY, how it lost to Oblivion leaves me oblivious.
I still want Sam's jacket.
Also, just yesterday the Xbox Live Arcade released another new game to the list. AHMG WAT GAM/?? Assault Heroes. Yes folks, just 800 points will get you the latest release on the XBLA. Hoopah.
Whuuzay! What? Yes. Ahem.
I sent in Saint's Row back to Gamefly and my next game is flying back to me. What game is it?? I don't know. To tell you the truth it hasn't shipped yet. I just thought it would sound good to say that. jajajaja. I have Rainbow Six: Vegas on the top of my list right now. So I guess we'll find out tomorrow, shall we?
And if you haven't noticed it's a tad past 2AM right now. Yay for insomnia!
