In other news, finished downloading If..., a film from 1968 directed by Lindsay Anderson (very underrated director from England) and the film debut of one Malcolm McDowell, future Alexander DeLarge, Droog Extrordanaire. Despite the surreal and quite confusing ending, it is an excellent film of teenage rebellion and I find that it sorta relates to myself, specifically the constantly being told that your hair is too long. I'll watch it a few more times while I wait for O Lucky Man, the sort of "sequel" to If..., once again directed by Lindsay and starring the post Clockwork Orange Malcolm. Definately look into them if you havent seen them already. Good films indeed.

In literature news I am going to start reading A Briefer History of Time by Stephen Hawking. I was planning on buying it last weekend after a hot tip from my philosophy teacher told me that the 20th anniversary edition went from $50 to $8. When I went to buy it I missed the 20th anno edition at the front table and went to the science section and saw the original for $50. After a subtle "Bullcrap $8!" and realising the misunderstanding (it happens a lot between us) he said that he was going later today so he would buy it and I'll pay him back tomorrow. Hopefully he remembered.

School is starting to pick up. I have my 2nd philosophy outcome next monday (first was this monday, comparing philosophical problems in The Matrix to where they originally came from, eg Plato's Cave) and this one will be concerning mind/body problems (dualism/physicalism), other minds and something else. Then on wednesday I have a literature outcome. Not to mention I have to finish my ERA report for Psychology. Time to start maybe thinking about studying.
