Im a huge EC F'N W fan and i love watching it. It's got a good measure of violence and athleticism that nearly anyone can enjoy. But ever since the relaunch of ECW as a third brand, i barely watch it anymore. Ive got some of its dvd's like Extreme Rules and Bloodsport, which are great to watch and give you some excitement. It had that "do what we feel like" attitude that connected with people. But this current "ECW" doesn't even have "extreme rules" matches anymore. They started out a weekly thing but it just died off. The best part was when Big Show won the title and the crowd rioted. Some bloke even got Heyman in the face which, although i like him, was hilarious. But i reckon WWE officials have misused their talent and destroyed the once great ECW and made it their own repetetive dribble. Sure the "Attitude Era" will never come again, but they can keep the spirit alive in ECW. I believe the worst thing they did was release Paul E. from his booking power, not like he had much anyway. If he was to write and/or book all ecw matches instead of Vince McMahon, ECW will be the legend it was, or at least close to it and good enough to watch. Another thing i dont like are the current champions like John Cena. He went from W***a to the wrestling worlds most hated person to some sort of "marine". And i just know we "loved" seeing him as WWE champion for nearly a year. Ive watched his matches and he basically has 7 to 8 moves. He is also in the spotlight way too much. Every RAW show has something major to do with him. How often you see that on SmackDown or even ECW. Also the ECW champ Lashley egts under my skin. In my own personal opinion Test shoud be champion now because he's more experianced that Lashley is and he isnt afraid to get hit with weapons. Lashley has been in the Extreme Elimination Chamber and 1 Extreme Rules match, where all that was used was a steel chair. Oooooh hardcore. Speaking of hardcore Test at one point WAS the hardcore champ. Shame he was released coz he couldve taken ECW to new hights. But we can't change history and were stuck with what we've got.
