Just tell people that you're going to murder them, maybe be a little explicit in the details, and usually they'll shut up or ark up, at which point it's time to go. Trash Talking is so passe.

I was baptised and confirmed as well, and I despise the catholic church.

Good for you, I have better things to waste my hate on than a beaten horse.

[QUOTE="freek666"]

I never bought into religion in the first place despite being raised Roman Catholic my entire life and I still identify as one because the notion of 'losing your religion' and denouncing one's faith publically is an extremely childish attempt at rebellion. According to all legal documents I am Roman Catholic, according to the Catholic church I am a Roman Catholic. It's whether or not you actually take your religion seriously or not, and I never did. But I'm not about to write "Atheist" under religion on legal forms, I'm indoctrinated and there's nothing I can do or want to do about it because it's honestly not even worth my time.

"But you can't say you're catholic if you aren't practicing or you don't believe in God!"

Yes I can, I just did. Try and stop me.

this is a very silly way of thinking. Labeling yourself as part of a club when you aren't in it just to make an impression is quite sad.

I'm baptised and confirmed, I'm in the bloody club as much as anyone else. I just don't go to meetings anymore because I'm no longer required to (as a part of school services).

Usually when I go to the beach I take a bag and towel with me and just leave it all in one spot within view. Never had anything of mine stolen at the beach. It's too public to really be going around, looking through peoples bags and stuff.

[QUOTE="4myAmuzumament"]

then what made it so that the void became something?

4myAmuzumament

It's quite possible that this universe was simply a void before the death or even exponential growth of another universe or a series of multiverses allowed the void to become temporal-space and inhabit Something, thus allowing The Big Bang to occur and setting us on course for The Big Crunch.

Something allowed Nothing to become Something so that it can become Nothing in order to create Something

the first word in your statement disqualifies the existence of nothing.

I've already explained that it doesnt, it actually constitutes it.

As a white man I feel extremely priveleged but persecuted. On one hand you can call me any name under the sun, it honestly doesn't affect me. But, due to prior times, I can come under fire for events I had nothing to do with and actually oppose, yet I'm expected to feel some kind of guilt (I don't explicitly mean white guilt, but also male guilt over female oppression). Sure, my feelings of persecution sound silly to a lot of people, but aren't those who continue to push such prejudices just as silly?

I live about an hours train ride from the city, maybe 30-40 minutes drive in average traffic, so I already am. The city is great but suburban life is comfortable, aside from all the drugs and its related crimes.
