To be honest I've noticed that the length of battery life in both PS3 and XBOX360 controllers varies to what kind of game your playing as some require more actions etc. I do think thopugh that the PS3 pad is better designed as it doesn't have a huge battery case on the back, but the XBOX360 pad feels more comfortable to hold and game with. Well... thats my opinion anyway lol

How ever, back to the topic. I don't think it has anything to do with the batteries as they charged perfectly in my friends wireless pad but don't actually charge in mine. Maybe I was just lucky for the to have charged, who knows. any other views will be much appreciated.

Okay I know you have been given this question plenty of times but I have something new to add to the equation.

Recently my play and charge kit stopped working but I noticed it isn't actually the play and charge kit that has stopped working, it is actually the wireless pad. You see when I plug in my wireless pad to charge the play and charge kit, the LED on the cable glows red for a couple of seconds and then return to green. When this first happened I thought the battery was full so I disconnected it to find it was still dead. But I noticed that when my friend brought his pad up he borrowed my play and charge pack and it charged up in his pad.

Now I believe there is actually a problem with the wireless pad. Going to actually have to look into this problem as it intrigues me.

Thanks Friburg

My 360 was crashing a lot (like once every 20 minutes). So I took the power supply off the ground and suspended it in the air with some string. I have been playing for about 3 hours straight and no crashes so far!

EDIT: I found an easier way to do this. I got a box with no cover and put the power supply on the edges.

EDIT 2: This is just one way of doing it. The main point of this fix is to get your PSU off the ground for maximum heat release.

Also, it seems like most 360s are freezing due to overheating. My Xbox 360 was freezing every 20 minutes. When I put the PSU on this box I left the console on for 7 hours without crashing (I finally decided to turn it off).Goldeneyemaster

Okay so i have suspended my power supply with two peices of wood both sized 4" tall and 12" in length (photos are avaliable if you want), will this prevent crashes completely?

Thanks NFusion
