I know you can get something that connects your xbox 360 hard drive to a computer via usb.

Of course, I have no idea if you can transfer music, I just know that such devices do exist, and they can be used to transfer files between 360 and computer.

Well they might have unconfirmed it about 5 months ago. Just under the rumour buster section it mentions that the game is in fact not native to 1080p.

Also, a few pages back somebody mentioned that the RGB interface cannot carry full 1080p, and that is why HDMI exists. That is in fact wrong, RGB can carry full 1080p resolutions, and so can HDMI, the only reason HDMI exists is due to the fact that HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is needed to play Blu-Ray and HD-DVD releases. That's the main reason HDMI exists, oh, and it's ever so slightly better quality.

It does not render in 1080p. However it can be outputted as 1080p. Do not mix the two up.

Processing a game at 1080p would require a hell of a lot of processing power, as a 1920*1080 image is not just something that "just happens". There are 921,600 pixels on a 720p image, there are 2,073,600 in a 1080p image.

For action games where high frame rates determine the playability, choosing a resolution that can offer high frame rates and good quality is must. If Halo 3 were to be 1080p natively, then there would be a 55% drop in frame rates compared to a similar scene at 720p.

"Halo 3 will display at 1080p through the Xbox Elite with its scaler and HDMI port, but not natively. We've seen it do just that and it looks utterly lovely. So if you have a 1080p TV, enjoy it yourself in a few weeks. Most people, and I mean the VAST majority of people don't have a 1080p TV, so it would be foolish to sacrifice even a single feature for a bullet point number on the back of a box."

It will support 1080p, but it's not native.
