at the PSU forums some peeps are having problems w/ this new update, with their system unable to read discs etc. just curious if anyone here's had difficulties or if everythings going kosher for you all. i'm out of town and haven't upgraded yet but got kinda paranoid after reading some peoples stories.
Hey peeps...pretty new to the forums here. I'm ready to jump into the market for a HDTV and after doing a search and reading old posts regarding people's plasma's experiences I thought I'd start an updated thread... For those of you that decided on plasma TV's for your viewing and gaming pleasures, how have things turned out for you? My only reservation, which seems to the same for others, is the concern for burn-in, and am curious if any of you have experienced this or have avoided this despite some hardcore gaming. thanks guys
man oh man these setups are making my mouth water....i've got the ps3 now just saving up for the proper TV and I've definitely decided on a 37-42 inch samsung. must...have...patience

so I'm in the market for a new system and am definitely leaning towards the PS3...I am definitely am a FPS fan but will not limit my gaming to this genre only. How do you all like the controller layout for FPS's? is this something that you can get used to eventually say if you're like me who is used to the layout of xbox controller?
