A year in review

Hmm, well, Resident Evil 5 was pretty awesome. Too bad it wasn't scarier. Metroid Prime 3 was nice, but not nice enough to have any replay value whatsoever. I got into Diablo 2 for a bit, but that got old. Currently playing Gears of War 2 with a friend, and that's a fantastic game - highly recommended.

Finally, I'm a few hours into Tales of Symphonia 2, working my way through slowly. Not as much time for video games these days.

Been a while

Haven't posted anything in a couple years, so I figured I'd write something. I'm currently working on Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Starcraft/Broodwar. Both are great games, but I've found that Smash Bros is kind of missing something this time around. Plus the online play for it is pretty terrible. Whoever thought up friend codes needs to be fired ASAP. On the other hand, Starcraft's online is impeccable, but the single player isn't all that fun. That's why I'm playing both!

New video games

So, my latest purchases were Spider Man 2 and Resident Evil 4. Take a guess which is better. I don't think I've ever felt as genuinely scared as I do when playing that game. The gameplay is fun, the story's interesting, and I have a huge desire to beat it as quickly as possible. Thank goodness it's spring break. As for spider man, I already beat it (took about 3 days). All around pretty weak game, but the swinging was fun.

The New Year Cometh

So, UNC lost in the Continental Bowl. That sucks. But, I just bought Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, Skies of Arcadia Legends, and Prince of Persia Sands of Time. That should keep me busy for a bit. :) Plus, when I get back to school I can resume Final Fantasy Tactics. 2005 is already looking like a great year for video game playing!

It's ok, I suppose.

When I first got on GameSpot I was really impressed with the depth of everything on the site. However, once I started to update my collection, I noticed an irritating short-coming. Probably about 10% of my games weren't addable (word?) to my collection. Not only that, but there's a huge thread about games that aren't addable to collections. Apparently this list is pretty big. That sounds like a problem that needs to be fixed.
