@zerohournow Nobody is whining... just because somebody does not agree with you does not make them a "whiner". All people want is justification

Like others have said, no problems with an 8 but with the way the review sounded(especially at the end) it makes it seem like a candidate for indie game of the year heck even game of the year and there is nothing but praise. Only thing this is doing is decreasing the overall score for the developers with no justification. Just a little feedback

Honestly, I agree with the review just felt tedious at times. It had tons of potential but the combat felt weak to me

@Mr_Spotswood NOBODY has a problem with an 8 but this reviewer has ALWAYS been the one person on gamespot who always seem to be at the center of a controversial review.

I much preferred Bad Company 1/2 over Battlefield 3. Hopefully after 4 is done they will go back to this. One of the very very few single player fps stories that I enjoyed

Seems fun but I cannot justify full price on a 10 hour game, maybe when it gets down to 30 dollars

Main stream media covers the E3 press conferences and reports on them for the non hardcore gamer. E3 press conferences are televised to millions. I don't see many undecided/casual gamers going online to watch a nintendo direct nor do I see CNN/Yahoo etc covering one of those. You make valid points but it seems to stem from you hating e3 yourself

@djpetitte @SavageEvil You are in for a rude awakening if you think a company like DICE would give up money to please only a portion of a fanbase..

Remember spending so many hours on this game, it is a shame the company has changed from what they once were in favor of quick dollars.

Hopefully Battlefield 4 wont have these insane patch sizes that never really do much to begin with
