Believe it or not but Halo 2 is still going strong. At last check there are only 16 players online. In a effort to be one of the lucky few who expierenced a win in thier final game I will not be jumping online to join these brave souls but I will salute these gamers who are showing Microsoft why Halo 2 is the greatest game in the world and they refuse to let it die.
CONTINE THE FIGHT MEN DONT LET MICROSOFT TAKE HALO 2 AWAY.
Lets face it Halo 2 redefined the multiplayer expierence. It finished the job that games like 007 Goldeneye began. Before Bungie released the epic finish to the Halo expierence and further cemented thier glory has video game gods we were treated to a small commercial with small clips of each map where you heard a voice saying goodbye. Well I think it's time they dust off that video one more time because as of midnight tonight we all say goodbye to Halo 2.
They say it's the end of Xbox v1 and the begining of something better for v2 but to be honest nobody is thinking of that one time they beat a newb in Need for Speed Underground 2 or that sweet pass on Madden 06 they are thinking about all the good times they had on Halo 2. Halo 2 was that friend that was always there to comfort you through your worst days it made gamers all over the world dream of sitting on the main stage at a MLG event competing against teams like Final Boss and Str8 Rippin. For those lucky thousand that were there for the Halo 2 announcement where the Chief kicked a brute out of a ghost and when he was surrounded by elites weilding energy swords he primed a sticky and beat some ass you remember the awe you expierenced when your heard the shots of the greatest weapon ever designed being used.
I know this seemed more like a rant but like everyone I loved Halo 2 and seeing it go has created a void that nothing can ever fill. Week after week me and my friends stayed up all night playing Halo 2 eagerly awaiting the release of Halo 3.
With a somber heart and some watery eyes I say goodbye to Halo 2 and thanks for the memories.

So I got on Halocal.com today to check my Halo 3 stats and i am currently ranked 5th in the state for the past week and i'm ranked 24th overall for the month.
I am also currently ranked 265th in th nation for the last 7 days and ranked 654 for the last month.
I love racing games my favorite of all time is F1 Championship edition for the PS3 but i'm a 360 guy and there re some good racing games but nothing that would make me want to just go out and buy it.
Nascar 09 is good but you can only turn left so many times and GRID gets frusterating after awhile. Forza 2 is way to easy, Burnout is last year, and need for speed has run it's course and lost so please give me a good suggestion.
