Well I asked for an original XBox for Christmas of '07, got a 360 instead. Quite happy :P

As a reward for getting straight A's, I get to pick a game to get. At first, I was 100% for DNF, because I've been waiting for that game for 10 years. Once the demo was released though, I played it and it was... alright. It was still fun, and I'm sure the multiplayer will be a blast, but it's not as good as I was hoping. Another game I've been wanting for a while (though not nearly as long) is LA Noire. So now I'm kind of stuck between the two. I know they're completely different types of games, but I have a feeling that I might get LA Noire and then completely regret it when DNF comes out. Any suggestions?

I hope. I have it on the 360 but if there's good mod support, I might buy it for the PC.

Can you do anything other than build things in it? What do you do in multiplayer? C_Rule

You can MINE, and you can CRAFT the things that you mined. As the name would imply. Anyways, you do a lot more than just build, you also have to survive against hordes of monsters that come out at night.

And FelipeInside, I too didn't want to play it because of the "horrible" graphics. But then I tried it and I'm addicted.

Well, CoD 4 just went on sale on Steam, so...

Check the feedback score. If 99% and above, I usually will trust the seller.

Secondly, read the feedback comments. As many as you can and read the negative comments too! Not just the positive ones. I purchased Medal of Honor when it first came out for $30 and it was legit. As for the bid and time left, that's normal. Some auctions don't get bids on it until the last hour or even the last few minutes.

Lastly, check if it's in English language and not Russian or something else. When I purchased my copy of Medal of Honor, the seller sent me the CD-key with the picture of it on the CD case. Maybe you can check or ask the seller if that's how he'll be sending you the email with cd-key. I wouldn't buy it if he/she sends just the code with no photo.
